This is another collab with Ulf Pettersson. That wonderful musician from Sweden. The title of this one is "I wanna see". This is a song I wrote as a bit of a parody, but then Ulf heard it and requested to do the music for me. I accepted of course, and this is what he came up with. I have to say that I like it a lot better than my original arrangement.

As with the previous 4 songs. This one does not feature on my album "Sight Or Sound".

I would love to do more work with Ulf in the future, because I really respect the work he has done so far. Ulf also likes a lot of what i do, but we are both currently bogged down with other things to do. I'm beavering away with my own music, and Ulf is involved in composing for TV and Film. It's likely that you might have heard something by him without even knowing it

Now for the next episode of events from my fathers life.

My Dad. Part 9.

I pointed out before that my dad knew a number of questionable people. Before I met him, and before I knew who he was, I made many friends myself. I was to find out later that some of those meetings were not by accident. As a person, I do not judge people. I never have. If somebody was friendly to me, then I spoke to them. There were a few of my friends that told me that I shouldn't really mix with some of the people I met, because they were trouble. I saw no reason to adhere to that. These people treated me well, and nothing untoward happened in their company. I found it amusing how people feared some of the individuals I kept company with. I can honestly say that that is something I never felt. They never gave me any reason to fear, and to be honest with you. I wasn't afraid of much at all. I was of the mind that if something bad came along, you dealt with it. Fear just eats up good thinking time. It turned out that my father knew all of those questionable individuals. Even some of those I'd worked with when I left school.

For legal reasons, this next bit is officially alleged. It's a tale from Cowgate road. This is something that my father recounted. He can't be sued because he is now dead. He wanted me to tell this. You may well have heard of the welsh singing star "Tom Jones". Well it involves him. I don't doubt that most of you reading this will know who I'm talking about. Apparently he had sex with a 14 year old in a field by Cowgate road. The girl became pregnant. I'm not sure what happened to the child, but I think it was lost because the girl died of leukemia. It's likely that she gave consent, but that kind of act was still illegal. I don't know if this story is known at all. It's quite astonishing in my eyes. Maybe not unusual for the 60's. He was most definitely an adult at the time. It may not come as any surprise that certain members of my family are not very keen on Tom Jones.

The subs are almost there. Tantalisingly close to the 1k mark at 992.

The visitors to my channel now count 23,296, and the total overall video views are 397,648. They've increased their daily rate over the last few days.
